This Leofoto Cable Anchor mounts on your camera's cage or any other surface with a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole. Place your cable in the anchor's channel groove and tighten that down to hold your cable secure. The anchor has two grooves, one that tightens your cable against your camera's cage and is tightened by the 1/4"-20 mounting screw. Use the integrated textured knob to tighten the grip on the cable in the second groove. The ball end connects to your arm, and the base of the ball end houses a 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 adapter bushing, which expands the accessories you can mount on your arm.
