The sturdy Leofoto LPC-5DMKIV Combo L-plate for the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV dslr camera is extremely lightweight because the base plate and the L-piece are both CNC machined from a single piece of aluminium. Therefore there is no more metal present than necessary, while the Combo L plate does not lose any of its strength. The two parts are attached to each other with a solid hexagonal screw, but you can also use just the base plate.
